Worship for adults
The worship gathering includes a cappella singing, prayer, communion, a sermon, and the invitation for anyone ready to be baptized into Christ.
About the congregation
Brighton Church of Christ gathers to worship God, study Scripture, and care for one another as a local congregation following Jesus Christ.
What to expect
The worship gathering includes a cappella singing, prayer, communion, a sermon, and the invitation for anyone ready to be baptized into Christ.
Children in fifth grade and under are offered Bible lessons after communion so they can learn at an age-appropriate pace during the sermon.
Each congregation of the Church of Christ is autonomous. Elders lead the congregation, deacons direct specific ministries, and the church as a whole shares responsibility for teaching the gospel.
The church teaches that becoming a member is the same as becoming a Christian through faith in Christ, repentance, confession, and baptism by immersion, with the New Testament serving as the guide for life and discipleship.
